You might have noticed a nifty new little button on my blog. It's right there, see it? No? It's RIGHT THERE! To your right! No, your OTHER right!
There are going to be some big doings around here very soon, blogosphere. I say "very soon" in hopes that it will, in fact, be so.
I'm relaunching. Relaunching, renaming, rebranding (whatever the hell that means, but it sounds very "social media" of me to say it, no?). I'm moving up, moving out, moving on.
It's been in the works for quite awhile and I feel like we're finally entering the home stretch. By "we," I mean the guy who's designing the new blog and is responsible for all things technical. My only job is to make him insane by sending him emails demanding to know WHEN this will all be done - pretty much right after I send him emails asking him to move things and change the colors and to do something about those fonts!
By the way, yes, that is me. And my ass. The shot was taken by my neighbor Robin who conveniently is a professional photographer. Let me tell you, I had no idea what I looked like until I saw the proofs.
I have come to the conclusion that I'm okay with it.
I'm okay with me.
Yeah, it's not the greatest ass in the world. But it's MY ass.
I realize I've become a LOT less self-conscious in my old age. I'm ancient and I have three little kids and nobody's looking at me anyway.
But I hope you're looking at my blog, and that you'll stick with me - and bear with me - during the move, which hopefully will happen within the next few weeks.
I am SO excited and nervous about the whole thing. I will be giving you some more info as we get closer!

Cool news- and great ass, Cheryl!
What? More buttons? You and the Empress...it must be button day.
I keep wondering if I should bother with making my URL match my blog title. Is it worth the effort? I lose all my precious comments. Comments are like GOLD right? I know, I'm lame. When do you know you need to do something more "professional" or "rebrand" or "Make your URL make sense, and preferably not include your last name so hackers wont steal your precious identity?"
c'est vraiment cool! i mean the changes & the piccie of your derrière :-)) good luck!!!
all of the flat-assed & big-backed around the world commend you, friend. Very nice ass indeed. :)
Congrats on the relaunch - its going to be fab!
I would follow you to the ends of the earth! Even to places with big spiders, but don't go to places with big spiders because I have a thing with big spiders that probably requires therapy and right now therapy is just not in the budget (but I would following you any way and sell my hair or something to pay the therapy bills). Also seriously if there wasn't photographic evidence I would not believe that you've had three kids, people who have had 3 kids do not have the boobs and the ass that you have. You better not turn out to be a fraud! But then I remember the Mangs, so I think you are probably legit.
So exciting!
And I'm seconding Dawn - great ass!
Dawn - Why, thank you! ;)
JoAnn - Are you on blogger? SO easy to make your url match your title. I did it awhile back. Makes it easier for peeps to find your blog.
Marit - Merci! And that's about the extent of the French I remember from junior high!
Kirsten - HA! And when is YOUR relaunch? Hmm??
Mombshell - Well, we do have black widows out here, which are pretty scary. Yes, the mangs ARE the great equalizer, aren't they? As for the boobs, they're on borrow time, my friend. Borrowed time.
Jen - Thanks! xo
You look great! Can't wait to see it! I've been working with a designer as well and hope to have a new design up this week. It is exciting!
Can't wait to see all the exciting changes. I am doing some at my place too. Hope they get here soon.

Can't wait to see the final result! Nice booty.
Woo hoo! Nice behind! Can't wait to see the new design!
Kristy - It IS exciting, isn't it?
Karen - Thanks! Can't wait to see!
Ericka - I'm so ready for it all to be done!
Momsicle and Andrea - Thanks!!!
How exciting!!!
And you've got a lovely ass :)
I would be very okay if that was my ass! Can't wait to see the new blog!
Sweet Ass!!! :-D
Obviously I did it the hard way. Or something. I don't know what I'm doing!
I just clicked change url and typed in a new one, then I realized the old one had vanished, so I added it as a new blog and made one "Moving" post.
Then I read that subscribers have to resubscribe. Oops. Maybe it will filter out people who don't care about reading my blog???
Good luck on the relaunch. Sounds exciting. And as far as the ass, You Go Girl!
I can't wait to see the changes! It's like moving to a new house, and getting new furniture, isn't it.
Am excited to see it!
How exciting for you! I'll be following closely! And your ass looks pretty darn good, actually.
So I actually read this post yesterday and thought, hey, I have to leave a comment and tell her she has a great ass.
One day goes by and everyone steals my idea. Whatever, NICE ASS! Very excited to see the new site.
I'm on the waitlist for BlogHer. Kinda wish I was going for sure!
Can't wait to see the new site! And, Mama, if you gots it - flaunt it!
I'm not mad. It's not like I HAVE to have readers...and the ones who miss me will find me...I left a bread crumb trail.
I think you do have to refollow, but maybe not. Do I know what I'm talking about? NO.
Of course, I do blame you for all my problems. It makes me feel innocent. ;)
Now you're all making me blush!
I think the design is now all set, so I'm just waiting for all the coding now. I hope you'll all like it - I'm nervous!!
So you & your sweet ass need to come by & celebrate with us!! We're swapping jpegs again!!! You know, those fabulous blog award thingys!! Perfect choice for your relaunch too, cause you're just so trendy!! :-D
It kills me that when I was young(er) and thin(ner) I totally DID NOT appreciate it and was always self conscious. And now that I'm more...quite a bit MORE on both counts, if you know what I mean, I'm way more comfortable in my skin. What's up with that?! Maybe it's a good thing because if I still had that bod of yore, i might not cover it up appropriately. :)
Looking forward to seeing your new digs...hopefully it will live up to all the hype created by your fine backside. :)
hezro - I really think after you've popped out a few kids, any sense of modesty is really gone. I don't mean I run around in hoochie skirts or anything. I'm just kind of over being so self-conscious.
